Where Have the American Indians Gone?

Our history, that of education and otherwise, seems eerily devoid of any information on American Indians. We learn about how blacks, Mexicans, and women were treated (or mistreated), but what happened to those whose country we stole? This is only a small, insufficient tribute to those who have suffered mightily at the hand of the "white man" and whose history we suppress.
